The heritage-listed Spring Hill Reservoirs will be unlocked for the first time in decades, and are set to become the new home for a leading Australian private opera company. The Underground Opera Company have been creating performance events in unusual, breathtaking spaces for the last seven years.
Conveniently located directly opposite the Metro Hotel Tower Mill, the reservoirs were constructed between 1871 and 1882. They were closed in 1962 and have remained off limits to the public until now.
